Nectar Social raises $30M Series A led by Menlo Ventures
Today we’re excited to share that Nectar Social has raised a $30M Series A led by Menlo Ventures and its Anthology Fund, created in partnership with Anthropic. The round includes participation from True Ventures, GV (Google Ventures), and Gwyneth Paltrow’s Kinship Ventures, and it marks a major step toward our mission: building the agentic social operating system for modern marketing.
Less than a year after emerging from stealth, Nectar has become the system behind social, community, creator, and commerce workflows for teams including e.l.f. Beauty, Babylist, Figma, Graza, Liquid Death, Kosas, Caraway, and many Fortune 500 brands. We’re grateful to our customers for trusting us with the conversations that increasingly shape discovery, loyalty, and revenue.
When we founded Nectar Social in 2023, we had lived the shift from inside the platforms that built the modern social internet. At Meta and X, we saw social evolve from a place brands posted into a place where customers search, ask, compare, recommend, buy, and build relationships with the brands they love. The challenge is that most marketing stacks were not built for that world. They were built for dashboards, campaigns, and channels, not millions of real-time conversations happening across comments, DMs, videos, stories, creator posts, and communities.
Brands now need to show up with speed, context, and their own voice across every surface where customers are talking. That is why we built Nectar: one AI-native operating system where brand teams can understand, manage, and act across the full social customer journey. Nectar brings together social intelligence, community management, creator workflows, and conversational commerce, with official data partnerships across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, and X.
We’re also officially launching Nectar Agent, our autonomous AI agent for modern marketing. Nectar Agent runs in the brand’s voice across the conversations that matter, while brand teams stay in control of voice, strategy, permissions, and approvals.
This round is not only about capital. It is about what the capital helps us build for customers. Nectar is focused on three core areas:
- Agentic community management: Nectar helps teams respond, moderate, route, and resolve conversations across social surfaces in real time, with the ability to move between autonomous execution and human-in-the-loop review.
- Social intelligence across every signal: Nectar listens across comments, DMs, video, creator content, and untagged conversations to surface sentiment, trends, product feedback, competitive movement, and brand safety risks while they still matter.
- Commerce attribution and conversion in conversation: Nectar connects social interactions to customer profiles, purchase intent, and revenue outcomes, helping brands understand which conversations, creators, and moments are actually driving growth.
The traction we’re seeing shows how urgent this shift has become. Nectar now powers more than 10 million conversations a week across pre-purchase, post-purchase, and creator workflows, with usage growing 5x in the last three months. To date, Nectar has engaged over 50 million consumers, attributed $100 million in revenue back to social, and powers more than 80% of brand social interactions for the customers it serves.
For teams like e.l.f. Beauty, social is where discovery, decision, and loyalty happen. Nectar has helped bring customer experience, influencer, social marketing, and insights into one operating system, lifting response rates and creating a clearer path from social conversation to revenue.
This Series A will help us accelerate engineering and applied AI hiring across the Bay Area and New York, deepen our platform partnerships, and expand Nectar Agent into more categories of brand work.
We believe the next decade of marketing will be won by brands that can be present, personal, and useful in every conversation without losing what makes their voice their own. Nectar Social exists to make that possible: an agentic social OS that helps modern teams turn community engagement into intelligence, trust, and measurable revenue.
