Nectar raises $10.6M funding to power the future of AI-driven commerce

After months of building quietly with some of the most forward-thinking brands in the industry, we’re thrilled to share that we’ve raised $10.6M, co-led by True Ventures and GV (Google Ventures), with participation from Flying Fish, Mercury Fund, Trust Fund, BAM Ventures, Charge VC, FAB Ventures, XRC Ventures and more. Nectar Social is emerging from stealth as the AI-native social operating system for authentic community management, real-time listening, and driving revenue at scale.
During our time at Meta, we witnessed firsthand a fundamental shift in commerce. As Gen Z and Gen Alpha reject traditional marketing in favor of social-first discovery and engagement, brands have been struggling with screenshots, spreadsheets, and duct-taped tools that weren't built for this era. We created Nectar to step in as the embedded agent built for today’s commerce—scaling your team at every touchpoint, listening in real time, surfacing actionable insights, attributing engagement to revenue, and much more.
Our platform unifies traditionally fragmented tools into a comprehensive system with three key capabilities:
- Grow and manage communities with social copilot agents: power everything from community management to strategic insight generation. Nectar manages routine interactions, produces high-quality content, and proactively tracks signals that would previously take teams weeks to uncover. Our system intelligently adapts to brand needs, with seamless toggles between full autonomy and human-in-the-loop oversight.
- Real-time insights and listening across brand and influencer: keep a live pulse on brand sentiment and safety across all content types, including video. Nectar tracks key conversations, surfaces emerging trends, and monitors influencer performance. Teams can zoom to SKU level granularity to understand exactly how products are being received and talked about across platforms.
- Full funnel revenue attribution and selling in DMs: link every social interaction—comments, DMs, mentions—to purchase behavior using advanced predictive analytics. Nectar builds unified customer profiles to reveal exactly who is driving conversations and conversions. For the first time, revenue can be attributed across the entire social path-to-purchase.
We're already working with forward-thinking disruptor brands including OLIPOP, Jones Road Beauty, and Solawave, who are already seeing 80%+ DM response rates, 12% conversion in DMs (vs. 1–3% in email), and six-figure revenue tied directly to organic engagement.
